Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) has been introduced as a new requirement for the automotive quality standard (IATF 16949:2016) based on previous non-conformances noted in the areas of equipment management.
This one day overview will provide you with an understanding of the role of TPM within IATF 16949, the reasons for its addition to the standard and an outline of the main components of a TPM based equipment management system.

IATF 16949 Training
IATF 16949:2016 was introduced on the 1st October 2016 as the quality management standard of the Automotive industry.
All organisations currently certified to ISO/TS 16949:2009 must transition to the new standard by the 14th September 2018, with the 1st October 2017 representing the final date when any audits, (whether that be initial, surveillance, recertification or transfer) shall be conducted to ISO/TS 16949:2009.
