Low Carbon Vehicle Mission to the US & Mexico

The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) is leading a low carbon vehicle mission to the United States & Mexico.We are seeking 10 companies to participate in this two-week mission. The combined activities will showcase a cross-governmental approach to highlight the UK’s low carbon vehicle technologies to a well-curated audience of North American enterprises and government agencies. The mission is a joint activity. It is expected that applicant companies will participate for the entirety of the program. DIT will work to introduce you to up to 10 of your key prospects and promote your specific demo stage session. The opportunities in both markets are outlined below. There is no charge to take part in the mission, but companies will need to meet their own transportation costs from and to the UK. Opportunity: • Roundtable discussions with public stakeholders and regulators. • Reception and networking opportunities. • Bespoke meetings surrounding the LA Auto Show. • Press and media exposure to show UK capabilities and innovations in low-emission vehicle assembly and manufacturing. • Pre-arranged meetings with low carbon vehicle manufacturers. • Company listing under DIT marketing collateral. • Promotion through DIT’s marketing campaign, including social, digital and media outreach. Mexico City Opportunity - 4 - 6 December 2017 Audience: Low-emission vehicle producers and component manufacturers, urban logistics fleet operators, automotive Tier 1s and auto industry representatives, urban transport and infrastructure operators, federal and local stakeholders and regulators. Opportunity: • Roundtable discussions with public stakeholders and regulators. • Meet-the-buyer session with large Mexican urban logistics fleet operators. • Opportunities to show technology capabilities to public transport sector costumers. • Bespoke meetings with low emissions technology experts. • Press and media exposure to show UK capabilities and innovations in low-emission vehicle assembly and manufacturing. • Meetings with potential customers for connected and autonomous vehicles. • Bespoke meetings with automotive OEMs and Tier 1s involved in low-emission vehicle component manufacturing. • Reception and networking opportunities.
